TASK FIVE - DASH
WAY BEFORE shot of the Dashboard...notice the black outline around the gauges and the gray metal piece that sticks out past the dash pad and covers the speakers...
Step one was to remove all the plastic pieces that cover the guages...
Next step is to lower the window to get to the back of the dash pad...as you can see this lead to more sanding and painting as well as adding cowl rubber to my list of things to purchase.
After removing the dash pad and guages I was left with a very rusty dash board panel... Since a new one would take time to find I decided to spend a LOT of time on this one..
After sanding and Rust Morte I painted the dash panel with Satin Black Rustoleum...Mainly because I was too lazy/cheap to go buy gray paint.
