Introduction

Where to begin, where to begin.  This is the great

question  that all storytellers must come to terms with.  I obviously cannot start at the end because that would take away the mystery and what is life without a little mystery.  An easy decision it is not.  I know what you are thinking, “just start at the beginning”.  But whose beginning should I start.  One person’s beginning could be another’s end.  For yet another it could be the middle and to get to his beginning would take us back even further and yet we would inevitably end up in the same predicament.

I guess I could start from the days when the first Cythereans came to this land, however now that I think about it, that’s kind of dull and you have probably heard it all before.  Maybe not about this place or this time but there all the same.  That story took place like so many beginnings in other places and other times with people leave an oppressive land to start anew.
